About me
Scott is a passionate and innovative educator who believes in the power of educational technology. His experience spans 26 years in high school science education in a large suburban high school just outside of Chicago. He has co-taught for eighteen years with a special education teacher to meet the varied needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities. Besides being a classroom teacher, for the past five years, Scott has taken on the task of being an instructional coach for his building. He has found many ways to use technology to differentiate for students, to enhance learning and to better assess student knowledge and understanding across all content areas. Scott has presented at local and state conferences. Scott received his Bachelor's of Biology degree from the University of Iowa, has Master's degree in Secondary Education, a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and a Master's in Administration. When Scott is not teaching you will probably find him at one of his four kids sporting events, traveling, and spending time with his wife.
