Join us for the 4th Annual National Building Thinking Classrooms Conference in New Haven, CT, June 29–30, 2026! This conference brings together educators from across the USA and beyond who are passionate about transforming math instruction through Peter Liljedahl's research-based framework. Set in the heart of New England, the conference features hands-on workshops, inspiring keynotes, and opportunities to connect with fellow practitioners. We can't wait to welcome you to New Haven for two days of learning, collaboration, and energizing ideas.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
We encourage all attendees to walk, bike, or take public transportation whenever possible — New Haven is a wonderfully walkable city, and the conference venues are well-served by local transit. Carpooling or ridesharing with fellow attendees is also a great option! For those who need to park, we recommend the Temple Street Garage or the Crown Street Garage, both conveniently located near the conference venues.



CONFERENCE KICKOFF — TRIVIA NIGHT 🎉
Kick off the conference on the evening of Sunday, June 28 at 5:30 PM at BAR New Haven — one of New Haven's most beloved spots — featuring the one and only Dr. Peter Liljedahl! Test your BTC knowledge, meet your fellow attendees, and get energized for the days ahead. Tickets are $12 and open to all registered attendees. Purchase your tickets here.



WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Registration will take place at Cooperative Arts & Humanities HS, Sunday 6/28 from 1-4pm & Monday 6/29 from 7:15-8:30am
  • Wear comfortable shoes! BTCC26 will take place at three venues, all within walking distance of each other.
  • Lunch for attendees will be served on 6.29 & 6.30 at the Omni New Haven Hotel.
