About me
Tom Lewis (he/him) is a consultant on the BTC U.S. Team and has been supporting teachers, schools and districts with implementing Building Thinking Classrooms in grades K-12 since 2021. He is currently working with Peter Liljedahl, Author of Building Thinking Classrooms, on several projects, including the BTC Coaching Institute, BTC Teacher Institute, annual BTC Conference and researching tools and resources that support teachers, schools, districts and organizations in their implementation of the BTC Framework.He was a classroom teacher for 26 years, grades 4-12. Beyond his days as a teacher, Tom has served as a math coach, school administrator, and educational consultant with over 36 total years of experience in education. He currently serves as District Math Coordinator for a school district in Northern California, leading the implementation of the BTC framework in grades K-12.
