About me
With over 25 years in education, I believe that strong relationships are at the heart of meaningful learning. I am passionate about helping educators create classrooms where students feel connected, valued, and empowered to think deeply. While strengthening mathematical thinking is an important part of my work, my greatest passion is building classroom communities where students feel safe, supported, and ready to take risks. One of my favorite areas of focus is integrating social-emotional learning practices through community circles and intentional relationship-building routines. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy serving others by supporting families through difficult times and leading Sunshine Committee efforts at my school, helping celebrate, encourage, and care for staff throughout life’s challenges and joys.
