Building Thinking Classrooms Conference 2026

I am a high school math teacher at Franklin Community High School and the creator of BTC in Motion. Since observing Peter Liljedahl teach in Hawaii in 2023, I have been implementing Building Thinking Classrooms strategies to create more collaborative, student-centered math experiences. My work focuses on making math accessible while maintaining high expectations. I have used these strategies to help design Pre-Calculus instruction and am currently building a Technical Math course centered on workplace skills, real-world problem solving, and evidence of student thinking.
