About me
From the first class I taught, I knew that teaching was my calling. I love working with students, motivating them to learn and work hard. Relationships are my greatest motivation. Before I became a teacher, I gained experience in the business world, where I have been a manager for Verizon Wireless, launched the Colorado market for Cricket Communications, as well as launched and ran two successful companies. I enjoy bringing the real world into my classroom with stories from my experience and helping students to critically think. This year I have taken a position as Instructional Coach on my campus. I’m really enjoying my new role and learning a lot. I believe in being a perpetual student because life is a journey and there’s so much to explore, learn and do.
I have a wonderful husband, four sons, ages 25 to 16, and one spoiled dog. I love to travel and my happy place is on the beach.I look forward to meeting you!
