About me
Hi there! Jackie Murawska is a Math Success Manager at Innovamat Education in Chicago. She earned her EdD in Curriculum Leadership, Cognate in Mathematics, from Northern Illinois University. She is an author, speaker, and a past president of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Previously, Jackie served as a K-8 instructional coach, an associate professor of mathematics specializing in the preparation of K-12 teachers, and a high school and middle school mathematics teacher.
Jackie shares her enthusiasm for mathematics and insights through coaching, professional learning, conference presentations, and publications, and has given over 120 presentations at national, international, state, and local professional organizations including keynotes and invited talks, and has also published over 30 articles or book chapters. Jackie loves to help students find joy in solving problems and thinking mathematically. In her spare time, she enjoys taking dance classes in ballet, swing dance, and lindy hop.
