About me
A middle school math and science educator in El Dorado County from 2002 to 2018, Chelsea spent 16 years guided by the belief that all students can learn to the highest levels. From 2018 to 2026, she served as a Math Curriculum Specialist for the Sacramento County Office of Education, supporting educators across multiple counties in Northern California before her recent retirement.Passionate about offering colleagues the same support and personal investment she received while building her own classroom community, Chelsea designed and delivered professional learning and coaching for TK–12+ educators and leaders, promoting access and inclusivity through a strong commitment to redesigning systems. For her, "Believing All Teachers Can" proved just as true and rewarding as her years in the classroom. She currently serves as a thought partner for Peter Liljedahl and his team. Her speaking engagements include the CISC Symposium, the California Elementary Literacy Conference, the 2025 Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) Conference, and both the Spring and October 2025 NCTM Exhibitions. In July 2024, she presented at the 2nd Annual BTC Conference, where she led two sessions and co-presented with Peter Liljedahl.
