BTC style assessment and grading is the fourteenth and final BTC practice. It is one that many teachers find implementation to be difficult, confusing, or overwhelming. As I am in my fourth full year of implementing BTC style grading as outlined in chapter 14, I will discuss how, when, and where I collect grading data and how I implemented it in my school’s Learning Management System, which is designed more for traditional style grading. I hope that by demystifying BTC style grading, participants will leave with a better understanding of ways to gather BTC grade data and develop a sense of how this can work in practice.
